This paid position for the fall season offers an exciting opportunity to foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while promoting physical activity and healthy competition. As a key member of our athletic staff, you will lead practices, coordinate games, and cultivate a positive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and lifelong skills. Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging soccer practices that develop technical skills, tactical understanding, and teamwork among students Lead team warm-ups, drills, and scrimmages to prepare athletes for competitions Monitor student behavior during practices and games, applying effective behavior management techniques to maintain focus and respect Provide mentorship and support to student-athletes, fostering a positive team culture and encouraging personal development Assess players' skills regularly to tailor coaching strategies that promote improvement and confidence Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines Requirements Be available to coach during the fall season from August-October after school. Practice times are 3:30-5pm, game times can vary in the evenings. Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably with high school or youth teams Background with soccer coaching experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Knowledge of behavior management techniques to promote discipline and respect among young athletes Passion for youth development through sports combined with excellent communication and leadership skills Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for sports meets your dedication to nurturing young minds.
