Purpose Statement:

Extra-curricular activities serve as a vital extension of the student experience. Coaches inspire, motivate, and teach students specific skills related to cross country while fostering positive character traits, teamwork, and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of the cross country program. Develop and implement effective practice schedules, strategies, and race plans. Promote and uphold sportsmanship, teamwork, and team values. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the community. Monitor and maintain student eligibility and adherence to district and state policies. Coordinate with assistant coaches, athletic directors, and other staff members.

Job Requirements:

Education and Certification :

Coaches must have completed 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.
