Position:
Speech & Debate Assistant Coach Stipend:
Minimum $2,583 Purpose Statement Extra-curricular activities are an important extension of the student experience. The Assistant Coach will inspire, motivate, and teach students skills related to Speech & Debate while building positive character traits and meaningful relationships with students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the supervision and instruction of student participants during practices and competitions Support the development of students' communication, critical thinking, and performance skills Help organize and implement practice plans and competition preparation Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive student behavior Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times Assist with coordination of events, competitions, and related activities Work collaboratively with the head coach and building staff
Qualifications Eligible Applicants:
FHSD Certified Employees FHSD Non-Certified Employees Qualified external candidates
Assistant Coach Requirement:
Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching Work Environment School setting with after school, evening, and possible weekend responsibilities Travel to competitions may be required Email To A Friend Print Version
