Skyhawks St. Louis is a franchised territory providing the Skyhawks curriculum through partnerships with local schools and community organizations. We offer programs to children ages 2-14 across ~10 sports and are suited for children of beginning and intermediate skill levels. We focus on development of athletic skills and life skills, but most importantly we focus on having fun!
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate activities for children in various sports programs. Curriculum provided.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students to help them develop skills and improve their technique.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Monitor and supervise students during activities to ensure their safety.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to plan and coordinate programs and events.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Background check required.
