mail Tweet Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Apply Now > Job Description Description SAIC is looking for Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The SCC will act as part of a multi-discipline team that will provide program analytical support and qualified/certified Strength and Conditioning training collaborating with the Cognitive Performance Specialists (CPS) and Athletic Trainers (AT) to function as integrated members of a Brigade (BDE)-based multi-disciplinary team focused on optimizing Soldier readiness and performance within the Army's new Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System. The H2F System is the Army's primary investment in Soldier readiness and lethality, optimal physical and non-physical performance, reduced injury rates, improved rehabilitation after injury, and increased overall effectiveness of the Total Army.
Job Duties:
Developing lines of communication within the BDE and Battalion (BN) leadership. Developing and recommending evidence-based, periodise strength and conditioning programs focused on unit missions and individual Soldier tasks. Submit recommended strength and conditioning programs to the BDE leadership for approval. Track Soldier/unit progression and provide data to the BDE PD as required. Coordinate and assist the BDE leadership and/or the BDE Athletic Trainers (AT) to develop, coordinate, and execute approved training programs for Soldiers with physical limitations.
Qualifications Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience. Overview SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
