Logan Health Medical Fitness Center is looking for enthusiastic, safety-minded, and engaging Swim Instructors to teach both group and private swim lessons in our growing aquatic program! Whether you're helping a toddler blow their very first bubbles or coaching a student toward confident strokes, you'll play a key role in building lifelong swimmers—and lifelong confidence.

Why You'll Love This Role Make a meaningful impact teaching an essential life skill Enjoy flexible, PRN scheduling Support a fast-growing, high-demand swim program Work in a fun, positive, team-focused environment What You'll Do As a Swim Instructor (Group & Private), you will: Provide high-quality swim instruction using LHMFC's established progressions and teaching methods Create a safe, encouraging, and fun learning environment for swimmers of all ages Use "show, tell, and do" techniques to teach proper skills and stroke development Adapt lessons to each swimmer's abilities and goals using clear, age-appropriate language Prepare lessons that keep students engaged, progressing, and excited to return Maintain a clean and organized pool deck Demonstrate knowledge of our emergency action plan and perform lifesaving duties if necessary Work both independently and as part of our supportive aquatic team What We're Looking For You're a great fit if you: Are at least 16 years old Are enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about teaching Communicate well with children, adults, and parents Can keep classes on track with confident class-management skills Are dependable, organized, and self-motivated Are excited to teach both group and private lessons Are able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Are comfortable learning and using basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, etc.) Preferred or Required Certifications Group lessons: National aquatic/swim instructor certification preferred Private lessons: National aquatic/swim instructor certification required Heart Saver AED/CPR preferred (or must obtain within 60 days of hire) Must complete LHMFC Swim Instructor Training within 30 days of hire Why We're Hiring Our swim programs are growing fast! Variable (United States of America)Schedule:
Variable shifts, with variable start times and hours depending on Aquatics services and operations. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
