Ballet Dance Instructor (Intermediate/Advanced, Pointe & Performance Coaching)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Ballet Instructor to teach intermediate and advanced students, including pointe work. This role also includes choreography, rehearsal direction, and performance coaching for school productions. The ideal candidate is a strong technician, confident leader, and inspiring educator who can develop dancers both technically and artistically. Responsibilities Teach intermediate and advanced ballet technique classes Instruct and safely supervise pointe work Choreograph variations, ensemble pieces, and/or original works Lead rehearsals and prepare students for performances Provide performance coaching, including artistry and musicality Maintain high standards of discipline, technique, and classroom structure Collaborate with artistic staff on productions and curriculum Qualifications Extensive classical ballet training (Vaganova, RAD, Cecchetti, ABT, or equivalent) Prior experience teaching intermediate/advanced levels and pointe Choreography experience for stage performances Strong understanding of dancer development and injury prevention Professional or pre-professional performance experience preferred Reliable, organized, and able to lead rehearsals independently Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families Join us in inspiring the next generation of dancers while sharing your love of ballet!
