JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach will be ultimately responsible for all recruiting, coaching, planning, and management of the Greensboro College Men's Lacrosse program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adheres to the USA South Athletic Conference and Greensboro College rules and regulations Adheres to the NCAA rules and regulations and annually reviews new NCAA legislation Recruits qualified student-athletes and consistently communicates recruiting strategies and roster numbers to the Director of Athletics or designee Submits requested departmental forms in a timely manner Organizes practice plans and schedules contests Plans and implements team travel arrangements Instrumental in player development Creates a budget plan, regularly monitors expenditures, and exercises budget control Organizes equipment and apparel purchases, as needed Develops fundraising strategies to enhance the overall student-athlete experience Transports student-athletes to and from contests Coordinates and develops community outreach programs within the Greensboro community Fully participates in athletic department meetings and initiatives Willingness to be an excellent colleague and steward to Greensboro College and its resources Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required (Master's Degree preferred) Collegiate playing and head coaching experience is preferred, but not required.
