Nebraska Twisters Gymnastics 321Stagecoach Rd, Grand Island, NE (308)381-0217 Head Gymnastics Coach (Full-Time) — Developmental & Team Program Our award-winning gymnastics program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our developmental and competitive pathways. This role is ideal for a coach who excels at building strong fundamentals, nurturing young athletes, and creating a positive, confidence-building environment. Position Overview The Head Coach will oversee athlete development from foundational skills through competitive readiness while supporting a collaborative coaching team and a family-friendly culture. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the developmental and team programs Coach athletes in USA Gymnastics (USAG) Compulsory and early Optional Levels Create structured lesson plans focused on fundamentals, safety, and progression Identify talent and guide athletes into appropriate competitive pathways Supervise and support assistant and recreational coaches Prepare athletes for local and state competitions Communicate regularly with parents and staff Foster a positive, encouraging, and disciplined team culture Minimum Qualifications Current USA Gymnastics membership Current SafeSport certification Experience coaching Compulsory or developmental levels Strong spotting skills and understanding of progressions Leadership potential and team-oriented mindset Availability for evenings and weekends Preferred Qualifications Experience transitioning athletes from recreational to competitive programs Strong classroom-style coaching and communication skills Passion for youth development and long-term athlete success Ability to mentor newer coaches Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time hours Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive, positive work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and coaching philosophy statement to: netwisters@gmail.com Make a lasting impact by helping young athletes build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of gymnastics.
