Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an AllStar Cheer Coach and ignite the passion for cheerleading, sports, and physical activity among enthusiastic youth! In this energetic role, you will inspire, motivate, and develop cheerleading teams by teaching routines, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive environment. Your leadership will help athletes reach new heights both on and off the mat, creating unforgettable experiences that build confidence and camaraderie. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your love for sports coaching with your dedication to nurturing young talent. Responsibilities Lead Level 1-3 All-Star teams with confidence and structure Teach and enforce proper technique in tumbling, stunting, jumps, and motions Build strong foundational skills with an emphasis on consistency and execution Maintain a disciplined, focused, and efficient practice environment Ensure athlete safety and appropriate skill progression at all times Communicate clearly and professionally with athletes, parents, and staff Attend competitions and team events as assigned Required Qualifications Prior All-Star cheer coaching experience is required Experience coaching Level 1-3 all-star cheer specifically Strong understanding of skill progression, timing, and technique Ability to independently run practices and manage a team Proven reliability, professionalism, and consistency Strong communication and leadership skills Availability for evening practices and weekend competitions What We Are Looking For Coaches who value structure, accountability, and consistency Coaches who are serious about long-term involvement—not seasonal participation Coaches who take ownership of their teams and athlete development Individuals who are coachable, adaptable, and aligned with program standards Growth & Advancement Elite Cheer promotes from within. Coaches who demonstrate strong performance, leadership, and technical ability will have opportunities to: Take on leadership roles within the program Increase their overall responsibility and impact Additional Earning Opportunities Coaches will have access to private lesson instruction opportunities. Potential to earn up to $70/hour through private lessons Opportunities based on demand, availability, and coaching performance Work Schedule Evening practices (Monday-Thursday) Weekend competitions (seasonal) Compensation Competitive hourly coaching pay based on experience Additional earning potential through private lessons About Elite Cheer Elite Cheer has been a leader in All-Star cheerleading for over 30 years.
