Duties Plan and implement comprehensive basketball training sessions and game strategies Lead team practices, drills, and conditioning exercises to improve athletic skills Foster a positive team environment emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline Manage team logistics including scheduling games, transportation, and equipment maintenance Mentor student-athletes in personal development, behavior management, and academic responsibilities Coordinate with school administration to ensure compliance with policies and regulations Promote school spirit by encouraging student participation in basketball events and community outreach Oversee recruitment of players and assist in developing individual athletic potential Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching, particularly basketball Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Strong knowledge of athletic training techniques, game rules, and safety protocols Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or extracurricular settings Skills in behavior management, motivation, and leadership development Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a positive team culture This role is integral to shaping student-athletes' growth while promoting a vibrant school community through athletics.
