Duties Lead swimming lessons for children and adults, tailoring instruction to individual skill levels and learning styles Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, safety protocols, and water survival skills with clarity and patience Monitor participants during lessons to ensure safety and enforce behavior management policies Conduct regular assessments of students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment by following health club standards and safety guidelines Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative lesson plans that incorporate sports coaching, martial arts, or physical education principles Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents in the water, applying lifeguard experience when necessary Skills Proven lifeguard experience with strong water rescue skills and emergency response capabilities Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education, with knowledge of martial arts such as Karate or Judo preferred Experience working with children or students in childcare settings or educational environments Familiarity with swimming techniques, climbing activities, cheerleading routines, or basketball fundamentals beneficial Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a fun and motivating atmosphere Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and provide encouragement Passion for promoting health club activities, gym programs, or aquatic sports that enhance overall fitness Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels the growth of confident swimmers!
