Sports Teaching Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic coach to join our team! As a youth sports and karate coach, you will be responsible for providing guidance, instruction, and support to students in various sports and physical activities. If you have a passion for working with children and a background in sports or karate, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Deliver engaging coaching sessions in sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, football, hockey, track and field, tennis, golf, lacrosse and karate!
• Provide group instruction to children ages 2-12 years old, based on their skill level and goals
• Follow a provided weekly curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Teaching children ages 2-12 life skills in a fun engaging environment
• Teach students proper techniques, rules, and strategies of the sport
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play among students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
• Manage behavior effectively to ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate practices, games, and events

Availability:

• Coaches work mornings 9:00 am
• 12:00 pm and afternoons ranging from 1:00 pm
• 5:30 pm
• Based on availability we offer weekend classes too!
