Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise athletic activities; Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and sportsmanship; Use a variety of coaching/instructional techniques to improve the abilities of athletes; Work and coordinate with members of the football program to plan and implement program goals; Promote and recruit all aspects of the athletic program; Help develop a regular practice schedule and organize practice time to provide both individual and team development; Hold a preseason meeting with all student athletes and parents before the first event; Monitor and support student eligibility for extracurricular participation; Act as a team representative and promote the sport by communicating with the Athletic department, and other media outlets; Always represent the Sweet Home School District and the Athletic Program in a professional manner; Maintain nondiscriminatory practices in all activities; and Successful candidates are expected to coach 5-6 days per week.

Christopher Schiumo, Director of Athletics Job Qualifications Prior coaching experience is preferred Fingerprinting CPR/First Aid and AED certifications DASA, School Violence and Prevention, Child Abuse Certifications Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) Certification Concussion Management Completion of or working towards completion of coaching license
