Position Summary Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Assistant Coach assists in the coaching, teaching, organization, and planning of all practices and games. Essential Functions Assists in the coaching, teaching, organization, and planning of all practices and games. Acts as a positional coach for a predetermined position(s). Assists the Head Coach with player instruction and skill development for student-athletes. Evaluates, identifies, and recruits quality student-athletes within a selected region of the country within the University, Patriot League, and NCAA policies. Acts as an administrative liaison to a selected department on campus. Complies with all NCAA, Patriot League, and University rules and regulations. Attends fundraising events upon request to support the program. Essential Functions Note This list is not intended to be an exhaustive list. Management Responsibilities May provide peer-level coordination or subject-matter guidance to colleagues performing similar work and/or student, part-time workers, including helping organize tasks, clarify priorities, or review work for quality or consistency.Additional Functions Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a coach or on the staff of an NCAA program, preferably at the FCS or FBS level. Valid Driver's license.Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills Understanding and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Must be extremely well organized and highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Minimum Starting Salary $57,600 Maximum Starting Salary $62,000 Note Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills. Is this a Union position?
