About John Jay FC:
John Jay FC is a community-driven youth soccer club committed to player development, sportsmanship, and excellence on and off the field. We offer year-round programming including travel teams, clinics, and an academy program.
Position Overview:
John Jay FC is seeking a passionate and qualified Soccer Coaches to join our coaching staff. The role includes coaching a travel team, leading additional clinic hours, and contributing to our academy program. This is a great opportunity for a coach who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is eager to make a positive impact on youth athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach and manage a youth travel team, focusing on individual and team development. Lead extra clinic sessions designed to enhance technical and tactical skills. Deliver high-quality sessions as part of our academy training program. Provide clear, constructive feedback to players and maintain open communication with families. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a consistent and supportive training environment. Promote a culture of respect, effort, and enjoyment within all team and club activities.
Qualifications:
Prior coaching experience, especially in youth soccer, is strongly preferred. USSF coaching license (or equivalent) is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to player development. Availability for weekday practices, weekend games, and clinic sessions.
Compensation:
