Job Description:
The head coach is responsible for the operation and management of all aspects of a Division I men's & women's tennis program. Areas of responsibility include practice and competition preparation, recruitment of student-athletes, student-athlete development, NCAA compliance, and external relations as it relates to the sport. Plan and conduct in-season and out-of-season practice and coach at home and away contests Identify, evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes Schedule conference and non-conference opponents Manage operating budget for equipment and uniforms, team travel, recruiting, and other program needs
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Demonstrated knowledge of the techniques and fundamentals of the sport
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills At least one (1) year of collegiate coaching and/or playing experience
Additional Requirements:
Valid New York State driver's license at the time of appointment Must meet and maintain insurability requirements throughout employment

Salary:
$33,690 (Part-time) The hiring salary above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law. Siena University offers a generous benefit package to eligible full-time employees.
