Job Description
Join Our Coaching Team We are looking for energetic and positive Recreational Gymnastics Coaches who enjoy working with children and helping young athletes build confidence, strength, and coordination. Our program focuses on creating a fun, structured, and safe learning environment where children develop gymnastics skills and confidence. Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or athletics is a plus , but we are happy to train the right candidate who brings enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism. Former gymnasts, cheerleaders, dancers, and athletes are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Coach recreational gymnastics classes for children ages 2-12 Teach foundational gymnastics skills with an emphasis on safety, technique, and fun Lead engaging and structured classes Maintain a safe and organized training environment Communicate positively with athletes and parents Work collaboratively with fellow coaches Important Job Requirements For the safety of our athletes , coaches must be comfortable with the following: Using a clear and confident voice to gain children's attention and maintain class control Physically spotting gymnasts on skills when necessary to ensure safety Managing groups of children in a structured and active environment Being attentive and proactive in maintaining safety on the gym floor Training will be provided, but candidates must be comfortable performing these responsibilities. Ideal Candidate Loves working with children Positive, energetic, and dependable Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or athletics Coaching, teaching, or childcare experience preferred Strong communication skills Willingness to learn and grow as a coach First Aid / AED certification required or willingness to obtain.
