In this role, you will lead training sessions, foster teamwork, and promote a positive environment that encourages skill development, sportsmanship, and confidence. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help participants of all ages improve their athletic abilities while having fun and staying active. Responsibilities Plan and deliver dynamic soccer and basketball training sessions tailored to various skill levels Teach fundamental techniques, rules, and strategies for both sports in an engaging manner Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship Manage behavior and motivate participants to achieve their personal best Incorporate related activities such as cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts to enhance overall athletic development Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize tournaments, games, and special events Ensure all safety protocols are followed during practices and games, including basic first aid when necessary Experience Prior experience coaching soccer or basketball is highly preferred Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in a recreational setting Knowledge of child development principles and behavior management techniques Experience in related activities such as other sports, climbing, karate, tae kwon do a plus Lifeguard experience or familiarity with swimming safety is beneficial but not required Ability to communicate effectively with students of diverse ages and backgrounds Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among youth

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
