Summer Dive Coach (Recreational Youth Program) 25 Stormytown Road, Ossining, NY 10562 $27
- $30 an hour
- Part-time, Seasonal $27

Part-time, Seasonal Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, positive, and knowledgeable Dive Coach to lead a small recreational youth diving program for the summer season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young athletes in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment focused on skill development and enjoyment of the sport.Program Details:
Approximately 10 participants, ages 9-16 All diving conducted from a 1-meter springboard Recreational league (non-highly competitive)Schedule & Commitment:
Practices:
Monday- Friday, 1 hour per day June 29
- August 2 (No practice Friday, July 3)
Meets:
2-4 dual meets (dates TBD)Championship Events:
Dive Championships- Wednesday, July 29 (evening) Dive All-Stars
- Thursday, July 30 (evening)
Team Event:
End-of-season Swim & Dive Team Party- Sunday, August 2 (evening)
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead daily 1-hour dive practices Teach fundamental through intermediate diving skills and techniques Ensure a safe, structured, and encouraging environment for all participants Provide individualized instruction based on skill level Prepare divers for meets and championship events Attend and coach at all scheduled meets and events Foster team spirit, confidence, and sportsmanship Communicate effectively with parents and program coordinatorsQualifications:
Prior diving experience (competitive or coaching preferred) Ability to teach beginner to intermediate diving techniques Strong communication and leadership skills Positive, patient, and encouraging coaching style Experience working with children and teens preferred CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)Ideal Candidate:
Energetic and approachable Passionate about teaching and mentoring youth Able to balance skill development with a fun, engaging atmosphereCompensation:
$27- $30 Per hour
