Assistant Coach, Dive Cleveland State University - 4.2 Cleveland, OH Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Sports team experience Sports coaching High school diploma or GED Driver's License Colleges/universities Full Job Description Assists the head coach in all facets of the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams, with a focus on the diving student-athletes, to ensure a quality and successful Division I team. Responsible for player development, scouting, recruiting coordination, community relations, scheduling, academic supervision, equipment management, camps and clinics. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent. Experience coaching diving at the high school, collegiate or equivalent level, to include Graduate Assistant (GA), intern, or volunteer experience. Ability to travel and work evening and weekend hours as required. Valid driver's license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU's Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in sports management or related field. Two (2) years of experience coaching diving, to include GA, intern, or volunteer experience. Progressively responsible experience in practice and game day coaching, recruiting, scheduling, academic support and camps/clinics. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of NCAA and conference rules and legislation and committed to abiding by them. Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills and have a "Customer Focus" attitude and delivery. Effective written and verbal communication skills and decision-making abilities. Possess the ability to effectively plan and coordinate, establish and maintain effective working relationships and prioritize workloads based on available resources. Possess the ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and tackle emergencies and difficult situations. Possess a high degree of confidentiality to available information. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Requisition Number
