Jun 01, 2026 7:06 PM (UTC) Job Description Head Varsity Baseball Coach Northridge High School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered leader to serve as Head Varsity Baseball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Northridge takes pride in its athletic tradition, strong community support, and commitment to excellence both in competition and the classroom. About Northridge Local Schools Northridge Local Schools serves students in Johnstown and surrounding areas in Licking County. The district is known for its supportive community, commitment to academic excellence, and strong extracurricular programs. Located northeast of Columbus, Johnstown offers a close-knit community atmosphere with access to the opportunities of the greater Columbus area. Responsibilities Provide leadership for the entire baseball program (712) Develop and implement a comprehensive program focused on skill development and team culture Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, and character development Ensure compliance with all district and OHSAA regulations Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and the community Qualifications Previous coaching experience preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Valid Pupil Activity Permit (or ability to obtain) Completion of required certifications and background checks Application Process Interested candidates must complete an application and submit a resume to: Kevin Jarrett Athletic Director kjarrett@northridgevikings.org This position will remain open until filled.
