Job Description

Description Position Summary The Assistant Women's Basketball Coach is responsible for initiating and overseeing various aspects of the program, such as recruiting, maintaining an ideal roster size of (12-15) student-athletes, scheduling opponents and training the squad in the off-season and conducting practice during the season. The Assistant Women's Basketball Coach is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Clark State College, the OCCAC and the NJCAA. Essential Responsibilities Recruit, train and coach members of the Women's Basketball program Maintain an ideal roster size of (12-15) student-athletes Manage the development and promotion of the Women's Basketball program Conduct fund raising approved by the Director of Athletics Organize, conduct and schedule practice sessions (in-season and off-season) Monitor study table sessions for the student-athletes Schedule games with approval of the Director of Athletics Provide court care and maintenance Perform administrative tasks assigned by the Director of Athletics Represent Clark State College and the Women's Basketball program in a professional manner The Assistant Women's Basketball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is a member of the Athletic Department.
