QUALIFICATIONS
State of Ohio Teacher's Certificate Valid Ohio Driver's License Valid Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) Issued by the Ohio Department of Education Completion of Concussion Class from NFHS within the past three years Completion of an approved First Aid/Sports Injury prevention program within the past three years Completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training course within the past two years Completion of "Sudden Cardiac Arrest" training program within the past 12 months Successful completion of the NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching" course Desire to invest time during the season Ability to relate to and inspire young athletes Knowledge of sport with an emphasis on fundamentals Knowledge of training and conditioning techniques Ability to diagnose player deficiencies/prescribe corrective activities Ability to make minor repairs on equipment Organizational skills/resources to enhance the program Skill in oral presentations Ability to get along with other coaches A satisfactory report from Criminal Records check Equal Employment Opportunity Statement The Edgewood School District Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age disability, or genetic information in employment of service or provision of service
