In this paid position, you will lead engaging soccer activities, foster teamwork, and promote healthy physical development among children and youth. Your enthusiasm and coaching expertise will help nurture a love for sports, build confidence, and develop fundamental soccer skills in a fun, safe environment. Responsibilities Lead and organize youth soccer practices, games, and skill-building sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth Develop age-appropriate training drills that improve fundamental soccer techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills Monitor participants' safety at all times, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines Provide constructive feedback to players to support their development and boost confidence Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow coaches to communicate progress and address any concerns Maintain organized records of attendance, skill assessments, and progress reports for each participant Skills Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching youth sports programs Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and game strategies Strong background in physical education or teaching physical activities to children Experience with childcare or working with students in educational or recreational settings Proficiency in other athletic disciplines such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (e.g., Karate, Judo), swimming or gymnastics is a plus Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Certifications or experience in lifeguarding or health club environments are advantageous Passion for working with children and fostering their physical development through sports Join us in creating an exciting environment where young athletes can thrive!
