Job Description
Assistant coaches will help to support head coaches by running drills and providing additional coaching to youth girls who participate in our volleyball program. They are expected to attend two two-hour practices a week starting at the end of November and potentially going through May (excluding holiday breaks) and be available to attend 5-7 volleyball tournaments over the season, all of which occur on weekends. Can be younger than 18. Volleyball experience encouraged but not necessary, previous coaching experience not necessary. We can provide job training. Applicant will need to pass a background check, get PA abuse and FBI clearances, and complete courses for child abuse, concussion, and cardiac arrest recognition. Practice locations will be generally around the south eastern side of Pittsburgh, we may have a couple practice locations this year but can work with coaches to try to place them at the locations they would be closest to and with age groups that they would be comfortable with.
