Girls' Softball•Head Coach

LOCATION

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree preferred 2. Knowledge of techniques and rules of softball. 3. College playing and/or coaching experience preferred. 4. Experience working with middle school/high school students 5. Experience teaching and/or coaching student activities 6. Must possess all current state mandatory clearances

Annually in accordance with the provisions of the Fairview School District ECA Agreement

Assistant Principal

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coaches' individual participation in the skills necessary for excellence achievement in the sport involved. 2. Plans and schedules a regular program of team practices. 3. Work closely with the Athletic Director/Assistant Principal in scheduling interscholastic contests. 4. Creates a yearly budget for equipment officials, supplies, and uniforms as appropriate. 5. Creates and maintains necessary forms, i.e. physical, insurance, awards/letters, inventory, accident reports, summary of season, and transportation requests. 6. Directly supervises athletics at all practices, games, or related events. 7. Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establishes and oversees appropriate penalties for breach of such standards by individual students. 8. Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times that students are present. 9. Enforces district school attendance/busing policies. 10. Attends appropriate meeting, i.e. pre-season, Regional Coaches Meeting. 11. All coaches/activity advisors will be responsible for other duties assigned by the principal/assistant principal/athletic director or head coach if applicable. 12. Valid driver's license required and completion of the Commercial Driver Questionnaire to determine insurability.
