Drexel University, Athletics Job Summary The part-time Field Hockey Coach will assist the Field Hockey Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Field Hockey team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who specializes in coaching goalies and is looking for a career in college coaching. Essential Functions Assist the Field Hockey team during practices and games, with emphasis on session planning and collaborations with coaching staff; Coaching goalies as the primary focus of duties. Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically. Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations, and logistics. Assist in the coordination of team travel with other lacrosse and athletic department staff. Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and CAA rules and policies. Assist in the planning and organization of on campus recruiting and camps and clinics. Required Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Valid Driver's License. Preferred Qualifications Former collegiate lacrosse player or coach and knowledge of coaching goalies. Physical Demands Typically sitting at a desk/table Typically standing, walking Typically bending, crouching, stooping Typically running, climbing Lifting demands 50lbs Location University City - Philadelphia, PA Additional Information This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
