Play Patrol Company is seeking energetic and engaging Summer Sports Instructors to deliver fun, high-quality fitness and sports enrichment programs to preschools and childcare centers throughout the region. This is a seasonal position running through the summer months, ideal for individuals who love working with young children and promoting active, healthy play. About Us Play Patrol Company provides on-site music, education, and fitness programs to preschools, childcare centers, and libraries. Our team is made up of passionate educators, athletes, and performers who specialize in creating memorable, interactive experiences for children from infancy through elementary school. Position Overview As a Summer Sports Instructor, you will lead structured, high-energy sports and fitness classes for preschool-aged children. Classes focus on fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and fun, using age-appropriate games and activities to keep children engaged and active. This is a perfect position for a school teacher looking for summer employment. Responsibilities Lead engaging, age-appropriate sports and fitness classes for preschool students Follow Play Patrol's curriculum while bringing your own enthusiasm and creativity Teach basic sports skills such as throwing, catching, kicking, and coordination Use games and activities to promote teamwork and confidence Manage classroom behavior in a positive and professional manner Travel to assigned school locations for scheduled classes Communicate effectively with school staff and Play Patrol management Qualifications Experience working with young children required Background in sports, physical education, coaching, or fitness preferred High energy and strong leadership presence Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Reliable, punctual, and able to travel between locations Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule throughout the summer Compensation $35 to $40 per hour, based on experience Schedule Seasonal summer position Weekday morning and early afternoon hours Consistent weekly schedule based on school placements
