2-3 years of relevant coaching experience preferred; prior experience with student-athletes or in an educational setting

Requirements Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of the JV volleyball program, including practices, matches, player development, and team culture. Teach and reinforce fundamental volleyball skills, game strategy, etc. Plan and conduct organized, safe, and engaging practices. Develop athletes physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Coordinate with varsity coaching staff to align program goals and athlete development. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team events. Maintain effective communication with players, parents, school administration, and athletic department staff. Ensure compliance with school and SCISA policies and regulations. Organize equipment, uniforms, and practice/game schedules. Monitor athlete eligibility, attendance, and conduct standards. Promote and build a team and positive program culture of strong Christian character, sportsmanship, diligent work ethic, perseverance and team above self. Mentor student athletes on and off the field, consistently modeling a Christian witness in all interactions, including but not limited to interactions with players, parents, officials, coaching staff, opposing teams and coaches. Offer off-season opportunities for player growth and development

Be able to follow through on communications and decisions. Have professional experience and qualifications that match the needs and responsibilities of the position.
