Volleyball Coach

Job Summary Carolina Sky Volleyball Club (Chapin, SC) is growing and we are seeking passionate and dedicated Volleyball Coaches for our club teams next season (2026-2027). We anticipate having teams at the 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17U levels. The ideal Head Coach candidate will have college-level play experience and experience playing club volleyball. Assistant Coaches must have club volleyball play experience (college play experience not required). This role involves training players, organizing and attending all practices, ensuring a positive and competitive team culture, and attending and coaching at all scheduled tournaments. Pay Coaches will be retained as contractors, not employees. For head coaches we will be paying $20 per hour for practices, plus $100 for each tournament day (plus all meals and travel expenses); and for assistant coaches we will be paying $15 per hour for practices plus $75 for each tournament day (plus all meals and travel expenses). Our teams practice 3 days per week (2 hours per practice) and we anticipate playing in 7 to 9 tournaments (with most of them being two days). Our season will run from December 1, 2026 through April 2027, with some teams going through May 2027. Coaches will be required to meet all USAV qualification requirements, including a background check, and complete all USAV required training.
