In this energetic role, you will lead cheerleading practices, develop routines, and motivate participants to perform at their best. Your passion for sports, physical activity, and youth development will help foster a positive environment where students can thrive both on and off the mat. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape young athletes' confidence, coordination, and team spirit through engaging coaching sessions. Duties Plan and execute cheerleading practices that focus on choreography, stunts, jumps, and tumbling techniques. Teach cheerleading routines while emphasizing safety protocols and proper technique. Motivate students to build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship during rehearsals and performances. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve skills and performance quality. Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards related to physical activity, stunting, and tumbling. Foster a positive environment by managing behavior and encouraging respectful teamwork among participants. Skills Proven experience in cheerleading coaching or performing at a competitive level. Background in sports coaching with knowledge of physical training techniques. Ability to teach physical education skills such as jumps, stunts, tumbling, and dance routines. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during practices. Familiarity with child development principles and working effectively with students of various ages. Knowledge of health club or gym environments to incorporate fitness elements into training sessions. Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with parents or school staff.
