committee of faculty and staff plan exciting gatherings Girls Cross Country - Varsity / JV Assistant Coach Position Description CCES provides an engaging learning environment that fosters relationships and prioritizes the needs of the whole child. We are looking for an energetic and dynamic coach with strong communication skills and extensive knowledge of the game. Previous playing and coaching experience is preferred. Coaching Responsibilities Promote a strong team culture by fostering meaningful relationships with student-athletes Help with practices: M-F, 3:45-5:30pm, and Sat., 7:15-8:30am on days with no meets. The Varsity/JV season begins around August 1st and finishes in mid-November Drive minibus when needed for practices and meets (we practice off campus 1-2 days per week) Help with meets: Saturdays and a few weekday afternoons. We will have meets most Saturdays from late August through early November Assist Head Coach with parent communication Assist with MS practices or meet transportation as needed Attend and chaperone team retreat, tentative dates: Aug. 3-5 in Blowing Rock, NC (expenses covered) Commitment to modeling the mission and values of Christ Church Episcopal School and its Episcopal Identity Applications This is a part-time, stipend only position.
