Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of the Cheerleading Coach is to teach the cheerleading squad, to promote School spirit and encouragement of athletic teams. The Cheerleading Coach is someone who can coach our young women and men in a highly competitive sport yet help them keep a balance in all aspects of their lives, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. A Cheerle6ading Coach will promote positive teamwork, positive interactions amongst teammates (and all levels of the program). Modeling sportsmanship and fan involvement at games and pep assemblies are viewed as important aspects of being a cheerleader. Maintain cheerleading budget Supervise and direct the assistant cheerleading coach Attend all middle school football and basketball games; home or away. Responsible for distribution and collection of equipment, supplies and uniforms Help with the planning of Homecoming activities. Conduct mandatory preseason parent meeting Performs other duties as assigned A complete application packet must be submitted through the online application system prior to the closing date in order to be considered for this position.
