Job Description

Position Summary Dominion Athletics is seeking an experienced and motivated Tumbling Coach to help train athletes in a safe, positive, and high-energy environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about athlete development, proper technique, and building confidence while maintaining strong standards and discipline. This role includes coaching athletes of various ages and skill levels in beginner through advanced tumbling while contributing to the growth of a highly competitive All Star program. Responsibilities Teach proper tumbling technique, drills, conditioning, and progressions Safely spot and assist athletes during skill development Develop athlete strength, flexibility, body control, and confidence Lead group classes, private lessons, clinics, and team tumbling practices Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured class environment Ensure athlete safety and enforce gym policies at all times Track athlete progress and communicate goals effectively Work collaboratively with All Star coaches and staff Assist with choreography prep, jump training, and skill evaluations when needed Maintain professionalism with athletes, parents, and staff Qualifications Previous tumbling/gymnastics coaching experience Strong understanding of tumbling progressions and skill development Ability to properly spot standing and running tumbling skills Experience working with athletes of different ages and abilities Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate athletes while maintaining discipline and structure Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Qualifications ⭐ Cheerleading or gymnastics background ⭐ Knowledge of USASF skill legality and safety guidelines ⭐ CPR/First Aid certification ⭐ Experience teaching private lessons Physical Requirements Ability to actively coach and spot athletes for extended periods Ability to lift and assist athletes safely during skill training Ability to demonstrate or physically guide drills and technique when needed Additional Requirements ✔ Evening and weekend availability required ✔ Must pass background screening ✔ Must pass drug screening ✔ Reliable transportation required About Dominion Athletics Dominion Athletics is building a next-level competitive environment focused on excellence, athlete growth, confidence, and strong team culture. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
