Our goal is to create environments where players, families, coaches, and partners feel connected to the game through professionalism, energy, and a strong customer experience. As part of that vision, Soccer 5 Charleston is launching Soccer 5 Skills Arena, a state of the art, revolutionary player development product designed to take training to the next level. The Skills Arena combines innovative training technology, technical repetition, player data, decision making, and high energy coaching to help players improve their game in a modern and engaging way. This Charleston Program represents a landmark investment in the region's soccer infrastructure, and the Director will be the driving force behind its commercial success and sporting impact. Role Overview The Soccer 5 Skills Arena Director will lead the growth, execution, and daily success of the Skills Arena program at Soccer 5 Charleston. This person will help build the program, support player development, drive customer engagement, and represent the Soccer 5 brand with professionalism, ownership, and consistency. This is a rare opportunity to shape how soccer is trained and played in South Carolina, using technology that no other program in the state can offer. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Development Design and develop the complete Skills Arena Training Curriculum, tailored to age groups ranging from U8 through adult/senior players. Create session plans, coaching guides, and supporting materials that enable future coaches to deliver consistent, high-quality Skills Arena sessions. Continuously review and evolve the curriculum based on player performance data, coach feedback, and advancements in soccer methodology. Program Launch & Rollout Assist in the creation of compelling program presentations and demonstration sessions to showcase the Skills Arena system to prospective club partners. Build and manage a network of partner clubs, ensuring excellent client experience from initial engagement through ongoing service delivery. Commercial Development & Sales Proactively initiate and manage meetings with soccer club coaching directors, club administrators, and decision-makers across the Charleston area. Identify and pursue new business opportunities including club partnerships, school programs, elite academies, and community soccer organizations. Represent Soccer 5 at local & regional soccer events, tournaments, and coaching conventions to generate brand awareness and new business. Soccer 5 Culture and Leadership Represent Soccer 5 with professionalism, energy, and consistency. Develop and deliver onboarding and training sessions for coaches to ensure effective and safe use of Skills Arena technology. Take ownership of the program while staying connected to the larger Soccer 5 vision and ensuring the Skills Arena and Charleston location at large are aligned with company standards and culture. Communicate clearly, follow through on responsibilities, and help build trust with the Charleston community. Required Experience & Qualifications Coaching Credentials USSF A License or USSF B License (preferred); UEFA equivalent accepted. Demonstrable coaching experience within the local or regional soccer ecosystem. Track record of designing and delivering structured player development programs across multiple age groups. Local Soccer Knowledge Deep understanding of the Charleston and broader South Carolina soccer landscape, including club structures, competitive leagues, and key stakeholders. Established professional relationships with coaching directors, club administrators, and/or regional soccer governing bodies in the area. Familiarity with the youth development pathway and adult competition structure in South Carolina. Commercial & Leadership Skills Comfortable building relationships with players, families, schools, clubs, and community partners. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers. Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating with autonomy and managing a growing portfolio of clients. Desirable Attributes Experience with sports technology platforms or performance analytics tools. Background in sports business development, sponsorship, or commercial roles within soccer. Active involvement in the local soccer coaching community (e.g.

SCSA, US
