Department SDSMT-Football Physical Location of Position (City) Rapid City Posting Text South Dakota Mines is seeking an Assistant Football Coach-Offensive Line to serve under the direction of the Head Football Coach. This is a 11-month benefited position and is off contract from June 22 through July 21. The selected individual will assist the offensive coordinator in coordinating the offense, coach the offensive front and develop drills and practice plans for the offensive line, assist with strength and conditioning training both in season and out of season, assist with recruitment of student athletes based upon input from the head coach, demonstrate amitment to the head coach and to the athletic department and university, teach an activity class if assigned, develop a quality off-season weight and strength program for all positions, assist in the responsibility for student athlete academic and citizenship success, assist with development and implementation of daily practice plans and game day planning, assist with opponent and player evaluation, and support the positive player development program. The successful candidate will assume a positive public posture actively representing the football program, the athletic department, and the university at public functions, alumni functions, civic functions, and fundraising events.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is required; master's degree is preferred. Prior college football playing and/or coaching is strongly preferred. Applications must be made online at yourfuture.sdbor.edu.
