To Be Determined Job Description Head Baseball/Assistant Football Coach - Teacher (subject TBD)
Primary Purpose:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in assigned sport(s). Contribute to the education program as a whole and to the growth of students involved in athletics.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree Valid Texas teaching certificate Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned Current first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate Clear and valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger and School Bus endorsements
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
