Swim Instructor

As a Swim Instructor, you will lead engaging lessons, implement effective teaching techniques, and support participants in achieving their swimming goals. Responsibilities Lead engaging swim lessons for diverse age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers, ensuring clear instruction and safety at all times Create a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages learners to build confidence in the water Monitor participants closely during lessons, providing individualized instruction and behavior management to promote progress Enforce safety protocols including lifeguard responsibilities, emergency response procedures, and water safety education Incorporate various teaching methods to enhance learning experiences Experience Prior experience as a Lifeguard or water safety/swim instructor is highly preferred Demonstrated background in sports coaching or teaching physical education Knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety standards Experience in teaching or coaching team sports Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate students of all ages and skill levels Certifications in lifeguarding, CPR/AED are preferred Join us to make waves in your community by empowering learners through swim instruction!
