Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic
NONPROFIT
sports program as an Head or Assistant Football Coach and play a vital role in developing talented athletes and fostering a love for the game! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with head coaches, lead training sessions, and inspire students to reach their full potential on and off the field. Your enthusiasm, coaching expertise, and commitment to youth development will help create a positive, engaging environment for all participants. Players are age 4-13yrs Duties Assist in planning and executing football practices, drills, and game strategies that promote skill development and teamwork Support the head coach in monitoring player performance and providing constructive feedback to enhance individual growth Lead warm-up exercises, conditioning routines, and sport-specific training sessions with energy and professionalism Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and positive behavior among players during practices and competitions Contribute to organizing team events, tournaments, and community outreach activities to build team spirit Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from diverse student backgrounds Requirements Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies Lifeguard experience or certifications are a plus, demonstrating safety awareness in active environments Background in martial arts such as Karate or Judo enhances coaching versatility; swimming or climbing experience is beneficial for diverse athletic instruction Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings is preferred Excellent behavior management skills to foster a respectful and motivating atmosphere Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, patience, and clear communication skills Practices Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays Game schedule begins September 12th,2026 VOLUNTEER & COMMUNITY SERVICE with a 501c3 NonProfit Join us in shaping confident athletes while promoting health, teamwork, and personal growth.
