Assistant Lacrosse Coach Warrior Lacrosse Club Austin, TX Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal | Contract $20 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork Sports coaching CPR Teaching AED Certification Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and physical education, with a strong background in coaching or teaching. This role involves supporting the head coach in developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment for all participants. The Assistant Coach will work closely with students of varying ages and abilities, ensuring that each individual receives the guidance and support they need to succeed. Duties Assist the head coach in planning and implementing training sessions and practice schedules. Provide instruction in lacrosse fundamentals and skills. Monitor athletes' performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop comprehensive training programs. Engage with students in a supportive manner to promote their physical and emotional well-being. Organize and supervise practice sessions, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Qualifications Ideal coaching candidates should have experience coaching high school, club, and or college level. It is expected that the coach will maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management, foster a culture that promotes values of being a student-athlete, and will conduct themselves in accordance with the rules, regulations, and procedures of Texas High School Lacrosse League. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and motivate athletes. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Background check, USA Lacrosse Coaching Certification, successful completion of CPR and AED Certifications required. Ability to attend evening practices/games
