About Us :

At Next Sports, we're all about nurturing young athletes and providing them with a positive introduction to the world of sports. Our Tee Ball and Baseball programs focus on building fundamental skills, instilling teamwork values, and ensuring a fun and engaging experience for both players and coaches. Next Sports in collaboration with its partner Corpus Christi FC is building a world class multi-sports complex with 6 baseball infields in Corpus Christi. This will be the home of the

Next Sports Responsibilities:

Plan and lead engaging practice sessions using coaching plans provided by the Next Sports. Create a positive and inclusive environment where every child can learn, play, and thrive. Plan and conduct baseball practices and training sessions Teach players the rules, techniques, and strategies of baseball Encourage sportsmanship, fair play, and respect among players, parents, and fellow coaches. Develop players' skills in batting, pitching, fielding, and base running Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players Organize and lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages Manage game strategies and make in-game adjustments as needed Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches Supervise and ensure the safety of all players during practices and games.

Qualifications:

Passion for working with young children and helping them learn through sports. Enthusiasm and patience to adapt coaching techniques for different skill levels. Strong communication skills to engage with players, parents, and fellow coaches. Must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of a national background check.
