Our mission is to train youth athletes to become strong, confident, and technically proficient while instilling the importance of teamwork, camaraderie, and competition. Our experienced and proven coaching staff will guide your swimmer to be the best they can be inside and outside of the pool! We provide low ratio training groups, purposeful training and focus on quality over quantity! Our coaches are able to give each swimmer the individual attention they need to feel valued and make improvements. With this training philosophy, our swimmers have the tools to be successful long-term in the sport! We are looking for someone who aligns well the company's core values: individualized attention, family, fun, passion for what they do, and excellence.
What we are looking for:
Love for swimming and working with kids Positive energy and attitude Adaptable to different behaviors Preferred competitive swimming background Be CPR/First Aid certified (we can help you become certified) USA Swimming Coaching required certifications (needs to be completed before on deck coaching). Responsibilities Coach according to the Fast Fins Elite techniques directed by the Head Coach. Foster a positive and cohesive team environment. Be able to commit 7-15 hours a week for practices, internal meets, and swim meets. Communicate effectively to parents about their athlete's progress, performance, and changes to training plan. Collaborating with swimmers to set realistic short-term and long-term goals. Tracking progress and adjusting goals as needed. Staying informed about the latest developments in swimming techniques, coaching methodologies, and safety protocols. Continuing education to maintain and enhance coaching skills. Ensure the safety of participants and supervise participant activities. Fast Fins Elite is growing fast and we are excited to add to our team!
