member, seeks a Head 5th/6th Grade Volleyball Coach for Fall 2026. Alcuin athletes are known for their character, coachability, and strong academic focus. Coaches join a supportive athletic community that values teamwork, respect, and holistic student growth. These roles are excellent for former athletes, club coaches, or college students in kinesiology or sports management programs seeking to gain coaching experience.
Season Dates & Schedule Season:
Aug 11
  • Oct 16 Preseason practices: Aug 10-14 & 17-19, 11am-12:30pm Regular Season Practices Begin Aug 25 : Tues 3:30-4:30pm & Wed 3:30-5pm
Games:
Predominantly Tues/Thurs Key Responsibilities
  • Lead practices and skill instruction
  • Provide individualized coaching
  • Coach players during games
  • Promote positive team culture
  • Assist with equipment and logistics
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Uphold school athletic and safety policies Qualifications
  • Prior playing/coaching experience
  • Strong understanding of fundamentals, rules, and strategy
  • Ability to coach middle school athletes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • CPR/First Aid preferred
  • Background check required
