Dallas Christian College (DCC) is seeking a Christ-centered and highly motivated Head Men's Soccer Coach to lead its men's soccer program. This individual is responsible for the overall direction, development, recruitment, and daily operation of the program, with the goal of building a spiritually vibrant, academically successful, and regionally and nationally competitive team culture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a passion for mentoring student-athletes in their faith and life journey, and a commitment to representing DCC with integrity and excellence on campus, in competition, and throughout the recruiting process. Program Leadership & Team Development Lead all aspects of the Men's Soccer program, including strategic planning, roster development, team culture, and competitive preparation. Organize and conduct practices that emphasize technical skill development, tactical understanding, conditioning, team unity, and competitive readiness. Teach and implement effective match strategies, systems of play, scouting reports, and player development plans appropriate to the college level. Motivate, mentor, and disciple student-athletes through consistent spiritual encouragement, individual coaching, and team leadership. Promote a Christ-honoring team environment that reflects DCC's standards. Supervise assistant coaches, team staff, and volunteers as assigned or applicable. Recruitment & Retention Recruit student-athletes who align with DCC's mission and demonstrate academic readiness, spiritual commitment, and athletic potential. Build relationships with high school coaches, club coaches, churches, families, and prospective student-athletes. Manage a recruiting plan that supports roster stability, program growth, and long-term competitiveness. Partner with Admissions, Financial Aid, Athletics, and campus support offices to support enrollment, eligibility, retention, and student success.. Program Administration Coordinate scheduling of practices, contests, team events, game contracts, and officials/referees in partnership with the Athletic Director. Oversee team travel logistics, including transportation, lodging, meals, itineraries, and conduct expectations. Maintain accurate records for rosters, eligibility, compliance documentation, equipment, uniforms, statistics, and team communication. Ensure program operations comply with DCC policies, Athletics expectations, and applicable conference, regional, national, and institutional rules. Budgeting & Resource Stewardship Develop, monitor, and steward the men's soccer program budget in partnership with the Athletic Director, ensuring responsible financial planning and spending. Manage purchases and inventory for equipment, uniforms, training supplies, and other program needs in accordance with college purchasing procedures. Coordinate fundraising initiatives as needed to enhance program sustainability and student-athlete experience. Maintain practice/competition equipment in organized and serviceable condition.. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required Minimum of two years of coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred; collegiate coaching experience strongly preferred. Prior collegiate playing experience or comparable playing experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, retain, and develop student-athletes within a mission-driven environment. Previous experience in Christian higher education, Christian athletics, or faith-based student development highly valued. Ability to meet institutional background-check, safe-driving, and required training expectations; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain preferred. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, player development, team tactics, match preparation, conditioning, and college-level coaching strategy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust with recruits, families, coaches, student-athletes, and campus partners. Strong organizational skills to manage recruiting, scheduling, budgeting, travel, compliance, equipment, game operations, and team logistics. Authentic Christian faith; aligned with DCC's statement of faith and mission. Servant-leadership approach marked by integrity, humility, sound judgment, collaboration, and commitment to whole-person student development. Competence with general office software and willingness to use athletics technology platforms, recruiting tools, statistics systems, and video analysis tools. Desirable Attributes Deep, authentic Christian faith and alignment with DCC's statement of faith and Christian mission. Commitment to servant leadership, collaboration, and the ability to mentor others. High emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to foster relationships across departments. A self-starter with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a positive, forward-thinking attitude. Work Environment Moderate evening, weekend, and seasonal travel responsibilities for recruiting, practices, matches, tournaments, and team events. Work includes office, athletic facility, and outdoor field environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions during practices and matches. Physical demands include standing, walking, demonstrating skills, assisting with equipment setup, and lifting or moving equipment up to 50 lbs as needed. Ability to climb stairs.
