Job Description

Overview Altus Performance was created to bring together coaches and athletes who are bound by a shared quest for continuous development and improvement. Our clients include major winners on every professional golf tour along with aspiring college and youth athletes. We are seeking a new coach at our Trinity Forest Golf Club location in Dallas, TX to provide private instruction and lead youth group programming. Beyond the requisite technical and practical expertise, we are particularly interested in candidates whose values align with the Altus Ethos. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate an insatiable thirst for learning, possess a disruptive spirit for innovation, are able to collaborate with a team of coaches, demonstrate confidence and competence in interpersonal and intrapersonal behaviors and most importantly demonstrate experience, expertise and success in all golfer demographics with emphasis on competitive/elite players. If you've invested time and energy in understanding key technical concepts, motor learning theory, biomechanics, fitness/nutrition, and sport psychology among others
  • and have developed a real passion for at least one of these areas
  • you're the type of coach that will help us achieve our vision for providing the ultimate learning environment for our clients.
We aren't necessarily looking for you to demonstrate complete mastery of these topics, as we will provide you with the experiences and resources to learn more. We are looking for coaches who are actively exploring different domains of expertise as they grow towards coaching mastery. Experience Required Tertiary Education
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited University 2+ years of Coaching Experience Strong Interpersonal skills and a Positive Enthusiastic personality Team Leadership experience Proven Coaching results with competitive players Developmental Junior Golf experience Group Programming experience College/Professional competitive experience preferred TPI Certification preferred Experience/Certifications with a wide variety of coaching technologies Essential Responsibilities The position will be tasked with the following: Developing and Directing comprehensive Player Development Coaching programs Designing and Conducting youth and adult group training sessions Supporting the technical development of each player through private coaching•both in person and virtual sessions Ongoing Professional Education Administrative support Benefits The Compensation and Benefits Package will be commensurate with the candidates experience and will include: Coaching Compensation (hourly rates dependent on position and qualifications) Est comp range $90,000•200,000 with growth potential depending on billable hour volume.
