PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Encourage, train, and coach the participants of the girls' volleyball program (Grades 9-12). Collaborate with the Athletics department on hiring, retention, evaluation, and professional development of the girls' volleyball coaching staff. Schedule and organize practice sessions. Schedule games in conjunction with the Athletic Director. Represent Fairhill School and the girls' volleyball program in a professional manner and within the bounds of good sportsmanship.

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Volleyball Coach to join our team and lead training sessions for our players. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball, and a strong ability to work with students of various skill levels.

Duties:

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance players' skills and performance
• Organize practice sessions focusing on techniques, strategies, and teamwork
• Provide constructive feedback to players to improve their game
• Plan and coordinate team practices, games, and tournaments
• Monitor player progress and adjust coaching strategies accordingly
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all players

Experience:

• Previous experience coaching volleyball
• Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies
• Ability to effectively communicate with players, parents, and staff
• Experience working with students in a sports or educational setting
• Certification in sports coaching or related field is a plus
