Job Description

Elementary Multi-Sports Coach You'll enhance the program by coaching, developing and training elementary student-athletes. The role of this position is to create a united front allowing for inclusion and diversity while working towards a common goal. As a genuine team-player, you'll work across our school divisions to improve and strengthen our 'Sport for All' approach. Everything we do is connected to our vision to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens who will change our world for the better. Your role will impact the organisation by excelling our athletic students and teaching them skills to better their performance on and off the field.

Season:
Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer Seasons Commitment:
Mon - Fri 3.30pm - 5pm coaching sessions across a variety of team sports.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Elementary Sports Coach:
To coach, plan and deliver a range of team sport activities.
PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Comply with The British International School of Houston policies and regulations. Follow Coaches handbook rules and regulations. Maintains control of storage and use of school property. Cooperate with co-workers and staff. Relate positively to parents and community.
ABOUT YOU
One or more years' of experience coaching student-athletes (this can be a range of sports or a specific sport) Applicants must be able to perform physically without restrictions while coaching classes. Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures. Excellent analytical skills - with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success. Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
Job Types :
Afterschool coaching hours throughout the academic year (2025-26).
Schedule :
After school Monday to Friday Term time (opportunity for Summer camps)
