Position Overview The assistant volleyball coach assists the head volleyball coach in directing all activities of the volleyball program with in NCAA, LSC, TAMUK, and TAMUS policies, guidelines, and procedures, including recruiting potential student-athletes. The assistant volleyball coach is responsible for maintaining high academic standards to support the academic development and graduation of student-athletes while focused on student-athlete welfare. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Player and Team Responsibilities Assist in successfully directing the volleyball program to compete for LSC and NCAA II championships. Assist in planning and direction of all practices, games, film review, and scouting reports. Assist in the recruitment of student-athletes and maintaining a culture of personal accountability in student-athlete conduct. Administrative Duties Assist, as delegated by the Head Volleyball Coach, in preparing and managing the administrative functions of the volleyball program. Assist in planning and direction of all travel. Summer Camp/Clinics Assist with summer camp preparation, including applications and staffing, as well as amp management and coaching. Assist with coaching and running each summer camp session. Community and Donor Relations Assist in community engagement and donor relations by promoting the volleyball program within the priorities of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Assist, as delegated by the head volleyball coach, with all team fundraising initiatives. Facilitate, foster, and maintain positive relationships within the campus and community. Required Qualifications Required Education- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience
- Two (2) years college coaching and recruiting experience or three (3) years of High School and College coaching experience.

Texas A&M University-Kingsville will not pay this fee.
