Job Description
Compulsory Gymnastics Coach (Levels 2-5) Austin Elite Gymnastics is seeking a motivated, dependable, and positive Compulsory Level Gymnastics Coach (Levels 2-5) to join our team. This position is ideal for a coach who is passionate about athlete development, strong fundamentals, and creating a positive team culture. Responsibilities Coach and develop competitive USAG Levels 2-5 gymnasts with an emphasis on strong basics, proper progressions, and safety Plan and implement structured lesson plans aligned with USA Gymnastics compulsory programs Provide positive, clear, and consistent instruction to athletes of varying skill levels Support athlete confidence, discipline, and good sportsmanship Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and staff Assist with meet preparation, evaluations, and skill testing Maintain a safe, organized, and motivating training environment Uphold Austin Elite Gymnastics' coaching standards, policies, and core values QualificationsRequired 2-5 years of experience coaching USAG Compulsory Levels 2-5 Strong knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and progressions Current USAG Professional Membership or willingness to obtain Ability to pass a background check CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for practices and competitions Ability to travel during meet season Preferred Competitive gymnastics background Meet coaching experience Long-term interest in growing with a competitive program Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for additional income through private lessons and extra coaching hours Career growth opportunities within a growing competitive program Supportive leadership and coaching staff Well-equipped facility with strong athlete enrollment Positive team culture focused on athlete development and long-term success Why Austin Elite Gymnastics?
